Its coarse foam structure provides stronger cutting performance when used with a suitable compound.The slotted spider-cut face flexes during polishing, increasing the working surface while helping distribute compound across the pad. Its open-cell construction improves airflow and heat transfer, traps spent abrasives away from the contact surface and provides better resistance to tearing during demanding correction work.Use it with rotary, dual-action, long-throw, short-throw or gear-driven polishing machines and a compatible backing plate. Clean the pad regularly during use to maintain consistent cut. Because this is a cutting pad, the paint may require a separate polishing or finishing step afterward.
